Shipping & Returns Policies
Please note that our current lead time for preparing orders is between 7-14 working days. You will receive an updated email containing all of the delivery information as well as a tracking number to check up on the location of your order. Shipping takes anything from 3-5 days from when it leaves our studio.

We currently make use of the following couriers and you could expect your order to be delivered by either one of the following:
- The Courier Guy
- Dawn Wing
- Courier It
If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product/s to us and we will replace it or give you a credit subject to the terms below. This policy applies to products bought from Purpose & Proverbs.
This policy forms part of the Purpose & Proverbs Terms and Conditions and words defined in the Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this policy unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.
Every Purpose & Proverbs order is personalised and packaged with love and care. However should you not be completely satisfied or in the unlikely event that any of the items in your order are damaged, kindly read and follow the below procedures.

UNSUCCESSFUL DELIVERY
Purpose & Proverbs does not take any responsibility for Failed/Unsuccessful delivery caused by the following factors:
- Incorrect/Incomplete delivery information.
- Incorrect contact information.
- Failed contact attempts.
- Failed delivery attempt(s) caused by failure to accept goods on the scheduled delivery date.
If any failed delivery goods are returned to the Purpose & Proverbs warehouse due to any of the above-named factors, you will be held responsible for any additional shipping fees if we have to resend the parcel.
Conditions for Returns:
In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

The Goods were purchased in the last 30 days

The Goods are in the undamaged in original packaging and materials
The following Goods cannot be returned:

The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.

The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned,
deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over. -
Any unsealed/used stationery items.

Handpainted Bibles.
Purpose and Proverbs (Pty) Ltd has sole discretion and reserves the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above criteria.

Only regular priced Goods may be refunded.
Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be returned or refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.
Once we have inspected the returned products we will, according to your preference:

replace the product (if available); or
-
issue a refund voucher for the purchase price of the product or
-
*Issue a cash refund ( Electronic transfer)
*Please note that a cash refund is not available if the item/ items was received as a gift.
Cash refund will only be available to the original purchaser.

Returning of incorrect goods delivered:
Should we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you or is missing any parts:

Please do not remove the product from its original packaging or any of the stickers or labels.

Notify us as immediately and we will collect the product from you at no charge and deliver the correct item/ items as soon as possible.
Returning of damaged goods:
If your goods arrived damaged please notify us within 7 working days by emailing
info@purposeandproverbs.com

We will require the following information to assess where in the delivery process the damage may have occurred:

photograph of the outer box (including whether it has a Fragile sticker or not);

photograph of the inside of the box, including the inner packaging; and
-
photograph of the damaged item.
If necessary we will arrange collection of the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product or photographs and validated your return (if needed), we will, according to your preference:

replace the product (if available); or
-
issue a refund voucher for the purchase price of the product or
-
*Issue a cash refund ( Electronic transfer)
*Please note that a cash refund is not available if the item/ Items were received as a gift.
Cash refund will only be available to the original purchaser.

How to return Goods:
The purchaser/ receiver will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods toPurpose & Proverbs except where stated differently. Goods can be returned to the following address:

Purpose and Proverbs (Pty) Ltd cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. Purpose and Proverbs (Pty) Ltd are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods returned or proof of received return delivery.
